The Office of Early Childhood is excited to announce that preschool enrollment will open citywide on May 1, 2026. Trenton Public Schools offers free, high-quality, full-day preschool for children ages 3 and 4 who reside in the City of Trenton.
Our preschool programs provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children build early learning skills, develop friendships and prepare for kindergarten success. With certified teachers, hands-on learning experiences and a strong focus on early development, children receive a solid foundation at no cost to families.
